I ordered a fat head for my daughter’s senior night. It took 6 weeks for me to receive it. They told me they’ve been experiencing continued shipping issues with their local post office and packages are just sitting there. I was very understanding at first, as they even offered to ship another fat head since the tracking on the original showed it not even checked in at the post office. However, that package also took 6 weeks to arrive. The company states under their shipping policy that generally items are processed within 3-5 days and shipping times depend on where you are located and shipping method told. If they know they have continued shipping issues, it should be listed here so that customers know the risk of choosing standard shipping and can choose to upgrade. When I pointed this out, they told me they were very open about their shipping issues; however, that was only after I ordered (and they had my money) and wrote them about the order asking why my package still showed as not dropped off at the post office.
To make this transaction even worst, when I finally received the original fat head, one of her pig tails was broken off. I waited for the second to arrive and there was a hole in the middle of the head. Neither fat head was protected in the shipping box AT ALL!! When I wrote them about both damaged items they told me they’d refund my purchase, yet they never did. I even waited a week and asked how long the refund would take. When I never heard back, I finally just submitted a complaint with my credit card company.
GIVEN THEIR SHIPPING ISSUES WITHOUT ANY WARNING ON THEIR WEBSITE EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE VERY AWARE OF THEM, ITEMS ARRIVING DAMAGED BC THEY DON’T WRAP THEM IN ANY PROTECTION, AND NEVER ISSUING A REFUND EVEN AFTER TELLING ME THEY WOULD, PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! Order on Amazon (which is what I ended up doing for a usable fat head) or Fathead.com which is what another mom used (she received hers within a week undamaged). Me and the other two moms that ordered here all had issues with shipping and damaged items.
